    A part of an advertising panel was not in its proper location, and a train door collided with it and got loosened - according to TV news report.

    It does apply in a deterministic world

    It just says that two almost indistinguishable starting states (or maybe completely indistinguishable within measurement error) can lead to wildly different states several minutes/hours/days down the line due to those differences propagating non-linearly.

    Classic example: weather.

    I meant it more as a koan, but I think weather is almost certainly deterministic.

    MTR greed to grab a more dollars they added advertising panels everywhere, including the concourse and inside the tunnel! but they used metal advertising boxes with a hinged panel.......it was bound to happen one day.
