    Tropical Cyclone Rai - T1 Up at 11

    And HKO said they will raise T1 before noon as Rai comes within 800 km of HK. This will be the first typhoon signal in December in HK since 1974:

    Eh, contract ended, nothing to be generous about - best they could do was give me plenty of warning that they weren't going to extend/renew it, which they did. I've all but given up on the local job market anyway, between the state of things in HK and my medium-term plans it doesn't seem worth banging my head up against that brick wall again.

    And I don't mean the hijack the thread about the late-season but otherwise pretty boring storm

    1st day back in the office after 3 weeks of WFH (cyber attack), get to the office and the network is still not up n running, now back at home sitting in my boxer shorts with the small heater turn on below my desk.
