2022 Chinese New Year (Fireworks) Cancelled ...

Bad news for those of us who had the fireworks in their calendars as THE social event of the year... we'll have to wait another year or two for excitement to return....

Are we still being punished for something? Yes, there are crowds at the fireworks, but go to TST any evening and you will see crowds.

People who don't vote in patriotic elections don't deserve fireworks

What about December 31st? Already canceled? I mean, Lunar New Year canceled 2018 (bus crash), New Year's Eve canceled 2019, protests, various 2020-21 stuff, pandemic...

Just go to some outlying islands and shoot some small ones off at this rate (I would hear fireworks quite a bit on Peng Chau illegal or not...)

Well I guess the ass-kissers can save a few bucks in that case, not that it made such a huge difference anyway, I suppose in terms of their close-knit relations with government.
