Also yesterday, the Hong Kong Jockey Club announced that the Mark Six draw, with an estimated HK$105 million prize pot scheduled for tomorrow, would be postponed to January 20 to prevent overcrowding at off-course betting branches.

I am so annoyed by this! I had booked a cracking dinner for me and 50 of my closest friends for Sunday evening to celebrate my guaranteed win and now I have to move it to the 21st!

Before you ask, yes, with $105,000,000 in the bank I was able to find numerous venues willing to accommodate me and my mates and keep the shutters down to avoid unwanted attention.

CNY Snowball on Feb 5th

In view of the latest COVID-19 epidemic situation and public health risks of mass gatherings, the Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) has decided to hold Mark Six lottery draw once a week with effective from 20 January until further notice.

Under this special arrangement, Mark Six lottery draw will be held on every Thursday (except the race meeting day on 3 February). For the draw to be held on 20 January, the estimated first division prize fund can reach $105,000,000.

If there is one or more first prize winning units, the next draw will be held on 27 January (Thursday). If there is half or no first prize winning unit, the next draw will be postponed to the Chinese New Year Snowball draw on 5 February (Saturday).

The Club will announce the details of the Chinese New Year Snowball draw in due course.
