Some things wafting in the wind for those hoping for change (I didn’t count on).

Some very encouraging detail on the early release rumours:

So where is this Omicron wave? It's now been a week and we haven't really seen any indication yet of significant community spread despite the supposed hyper transmissibility of this variant and a huge swath of almost city-wide testing notices:

Where is it hiding and when will the fireworks begin?

FYI seems the guy received an "official" home QT order:

Meaning, given the living standards in HK, they knew all along this AWE 2wk measure was absolute BS. Will be interesting to see what they'll do/say when they actually NEED hospital beds for the unvaccinated but none are available due all to the asymptomatic folks with CT counts over 40 waiting on a 2nd neg PCR...

We need to demonstrate our determination to the Mainland. Reopening coming soon.

Criteria are clear. Not vague at all. You reporters should know better.

What I said in 2017,2018,2019, Dec 2021, meaningless.

Someone on Facebook mentioned they have been told by their nurse they only need to clear CT >33 to be considered negative. Looks like somebody in charge didn't think the number of beds needed through.

When we were hospitalised (as asymptomatic) last Christmas, the discharge criteria were CT>32 (which CHP class as negative) and a positive antibody result from the bloodtest.

Given the prevalence of vaccines I assume the bloodtest no longer applies...
