Meaning, given the living standards in HK, they knew all along this AWE 2wk measure was absolute BS. Will be interesting to see what they'll do/say when they actually NEED hospital beds for the unvaccinated but none are available due all to the asymptomatic folks with CT counts over 40 waiting on a 2nd neg PCR...

Someone on Facebook mentioned they have been told by their nurse they only need to clear CT >33 to be considered negative. Looks like somebody in charge didn't think the number of beds needed through.

When we were hospitalised (as asymptomatic) last Christmas, the discharge criteria were CT>32 (which CHP class as negative) and a positive antibody result from the bloodtest.

Given the prevalence of vaccines I assume the bloodtest no longer applies...
