    Right in time for Singapore to become the transit / transport hub for the Olympics.

    Never mind .. saw this bit

    The suspension on passenger transfer services won’t apply to diplomats, government officials and athletes and staff participating in the Winter Olympics in Beijing, according to the Bloomberg report.

    AKA transit ban on every foreign country that the airline comes from to HK

    Well its hardly going to make a difference to HK airport as most airlines are suspending the route if they haven't done so already.
    Besides imagine if you was in transit and then tested positive, off you will be to detention camp.
