As long as the incompetent tossabgs keep sending workers home because they get a red line on a plastic test strip thing-ma-jiggy they're gonna keep wallowing in ineptitude.

They've made their bed and now the patients have to lie in it.

They're all as bad as each other.

Every other day new instruction and guideline, someone at the top is playing chess with it and minions down the cadre are trying to follow it to the T as per computer instructions, zombification is spreading at sickening level...

So still testing positive civil servants back in the office after a week but confirmed negative HK arrivals two weeks in isolation.

    Makes perfect sense.

If only someone would say to Xi there’s no need to continue with this guilt trip (not that Covid originated from the mainland). Dynamic Zero Covid doesn’t work with Omicron. Maybe you didn’t believe the evidence from the rest of the world, maybe you don’t believe the evidence from the present in HK (not that the current figures are anything like the truth), but how are you going to deny the evidence from the mainland now Omi has arrived there. I defy you to prove that City wide lockdowns work. The stable door is open and cannot be closed.

Well luckily enough I think they are going to have a crack at it, so we will know soon enough whether you are right or wrong here

When that someone is done talking to Xi, do you think he could tell Putin to stop the war in Ukraine?

and no different to the partygoers and drivers/helpers of government officials. If we ever do get to ridiculous CUT you can bet your life there will be a layer of exemptions for that too. I got into a heated argument with a local this morning who is insistent that I cannot pull a mask down to sip a bottled drink. I wished I’d filmed it but I’m now starting to question my own sanity. Maybe the rules have changed and I’m the one behind the curve?

Mon a side note something worthy for the HK mental state thread.

What happened to at least ten days after testing positive, needing to test negative twice, followed by fourteen days of isolation at North Lantau? Won’t Genius accuse them of violating NSL and preventing reopening to the mainland?
