This is actually a fucking disgrace. I’m more outraged by this than any other Covid measure I can think of.
How many people here with kids that age give their kids a mobile phone? Or maybe I’m just getting too old.
Mandate the fucking pensioners that have held the rest of HK to ransom for over 2 years and make NO exemptions for them.
Totally agree. We have chose to vaccinate our own children, but the benefit to children is not as clear cut and it should not be effectively mandated. Why oh why won't they mandate it for the elderly? Didn't Singapore say - no jab, no free healthcare? That would solve the problem with one move.
*They did say no need to use LHS or have a phone though - paper vaccine record will be accepted.
stupid question related to this: so there's a 2 month grace period for this, how about a 11year old who turns 12? do they need to wait 6 months until they have their second shot before they can get a vaccine pass (and effectively go to a restaurant again)?
I have been somewhere where they insisted it be integrated with LHS.Original Post Deleted
I left and haven’t been back.
Has the government stopped providing vaccination rates broken down by age group? It used to be on the main Covid website but now I cannot find it.
