    Definite change in tone here:

“Right now we still have several thousand cases [a day], and it’d be rather unlikely for us to go back to zero. After all, the entire world has to be rid of infections for us to achieve that. It looks like Covid will stay with us,” said Chuang.

Now that we've got our permission slip from our overlords to prioritise economics we might even get some science soon.

Now that we’ve got our permission slips to prioritise life over covering in the corner, economic values will benefit too!

Anyone know what the airport bus services will be like to and from the airport? A few weeks ago when I dropped someone off, I found that airport buses were few and far between. Are there plans to expand services in the coming days and weeks?

    Current schedule here.

The Secretary for Transport and Logistics during the press conference stated that Airport Express and airport bus services were going to be ramped up and they will adjust based on observed customer volumes. Airport buses and night buses are supposed to increase services. Airport Express as of last month has already increased service to every 15 minutes.

RTHK also had brief coverage of this in Chinese: https://news.rthk.hk/rthk/ch/compone...6-20220923.htm

    Google Translated:
"In response to the government's relaxation of the entry quarantine arrangement starting next week, Long Win Bus stated that it will closely monitor the passenger flow, strengthen services according to passenger needs, such as routes A31, A41, A41P and A43, and maintain close communication with the Transport Department to facilitate arrivals and passengers. Appropriate airport bus services are provided for those departing Hong Kong.
"In addition, the Citybus Airport Express will resume services in phases. Starting from the relaxation of entry quarantine on the first day of next Monday to "0+3", the 4 Citybus Airport Express routes connecting the airport and urban areas, including A11, A21, A22 and A29, will resume full-day services for the convenience of the public The service level will be further adjusted according to the number of flights at the airport and the expected passenger volume."

And according to FB the self administered RAT before departure doesn’t need upload just a declaration that you’ve done one.

He may have only done this with Beijing’s blessing but the previous regime never even attempted to stop the stupidity.

Roll on BBQs, live music and public transport only masks.
