Air Canada has been flying the odd direct service as we have had clients use them for their pets. I think the YVR route is one they wouldn't want to give up considering the amount of Hong Kongers living there.
UA did have quite a presence with SFO, ORD & EWR although I thought it was CX that had the IAD route.
AA would be more likely then United.
Swiss would be a shocker as they have had on off service to Zurich whereas Air France hasnt flown for nearly 3 years.

Why did Virgin say in its announcement of closing HK that it plans to resume its Shanghai route?
I get closing the HK office for cost reasons, but does VS really have more business in and out of Shanghai, to the point of not even running an HK route a few times a week?
