Yes. Some special people still put in effort to upload their results everyday, even if they know it’s not compulsory.

You will need a PCR test if you are heading to the USA starting on the 5th of Jan 2023.

I actually do them ... given that many friends have kids / elderly at home or are in the 70+ age group and I don't want to be that one guy that f's up their week. What they do on their own time is not an issue ... I just want a clear conscious that they don't get messed up because of me.

I know... RATs are useless with omicron.. but it is just a feel good and cover your arse thing for me.

My question was returning to HK, is it MANDATORY to provide a RAT test proof to board the flight. If this requirement is removed, does it mean we can enter HK freely now?

I have PTSD after travelling back from Canada and I had caught covid. The documents and proof checking at the airport was stressful as fuck.

Since September you have had to declare a negative RAT result before boarding but in two trips no one ever checked it on the HK side. Never checked the daily RAT photos either.
