OK too much noise at 2000 and 2200, which still legit under local noise regulation. Too bad it had too end up the police shot fire on a 43 year old man.

Not sure what you linked to, but here's a video thats been doing the rounds on the interwebs.

What surprises me - the police don't seem to be in any rush to offer first aid to the person who was shot.

They were busy going through the field manual on what to do and waiting for a fax from their supervisor.

Don't the police receive basic training on physical maneuvers to subdue and restrain a person.. or is that wrong assumption >.<

Cuz when I hear hkpf superintendent say things like the policeman felt his life under threat, filipino man was 1.8m w alcohol smell & use of gun was necessary - I just want to crawl under a rock and die of embarrassment. If a policeman thinks his gun is the only way out here frm a neck grab, he has worse instincts and abilities than the average HKer on the street. I mean how abt just wallop the guy and kick his ass together w ur police buddy like a normal police abusing their power.. 😑

Question: does anyone think this would have happened if the people enjoying a bbq were Chinese or White?

    I'm going with not a fu#king chance.

I actually believe what he said - he felt his life was threatened so no choice had to use gun, cuz that's what ppl do when they scared shitless inside but have to act tough outside, panic a lil and just fire. When he cld have just punched him, kicked him in balls or yell to partner or police station just around the corner..

Sigh. Exactly what probe is needed and why so many assigned. Can they send some over to show face at China Concrete..

8ppl drinking+bbq is a ruckus but to make a noise complaint at 8pm (dinnertime..), then 10pm on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year (still hol next day) - man, there are some wretched miserable gnomes staying in Peng Chau..
