What it looks like at the HKO
Notice just went out. https://www.edb.gov.hk/en/index.html
Where's the rain at? HKO satellite images look pretty tame.
I guess the concern is flooding and landslides on the back of the last two weeks. Rain seemed quite persistent here in NT overnight but not raining at the moment. Skies look a bit dangerous though. This is an EDB decision rather than a compulsory closing for Primary schools and above.
Clinics still open right? Booked something months ago.
With typhoons, we are told that the signal will go up to 8 a couple of hours ahead. Helps with planning.
With rainstorms, you just have to wait and see if it is red or black, or just look out of the window and try to guess.
As has been said on other thread, the whole system needs updating.
Early this morning there were very loud thunders in TST. It has been raining almost since this morning atleast.
