So before they were not allowed to mention a 4 day working week?

What other North Korean style policies do they have in Singapore?

Now go ahead and ask your enlightened employer in South Korea for a 4 day work week.

You do like going from 0 to 100 in a second, don't you..
All employers in Singapore must fairly consider formal requests from employees for flexible work arrangements (FWAs) from Dec 1, 2024, under the new Tripartite Guidelines on Flexible Work Arrangement Requests.

The compulsory guidelines were unveiled on April 15 during a company visit to the Ridout Tea Garden outlet of fast-food chain McDonald’s attended by the three co-chairs of the tripartite workgroup that had worked on them since September 2023.

So Singapore wins the debate on the other thread?

Singapore is a democracy in name only. The opposition is sued to oblivion with defamation/slander lawsuits to keep them down. What the Singapore government has is competence which is lacking in HK.

HK has competent people. But the "elected" individuals in the HK government are there for the Mother land and not for the people of HK vs iron fisted Sing. government are for Singaporeans.

Regardless the general election, this is a nice initiative from authority which means a lot to mental health. Hopefully hk gov can offer the same.
