    HKEX: T8 no more...

There you go. We've finally caught up to with our country's flagship exchanges.

On Tuesday, Lee said that from September 23 investors can trade as usual “when the typhoon signal number eight or above is hoisted in Hong Kong, or even during a black rainstorm warning”.

“Shenzhen and Shanghai are now trading in bad weather. There is no reason why Hong Kong, as an international financial center, should not follow suit,” he added.

“Non-stop trading in inclement weather can strengthen the competitiveness of the Hong Kong Exchange,” he said, adding that the September timeframe would give the industry time to prepare.

Pikachu is our wonder man. He does it all. He announces everything. Even HKEX trading hours.

And here I thought HKEX had a CEO or something. Guess not.

It is no secret how inefficient HK bureaucracy is. We are blessed with such an efficient CE who can make things happen.

I am eagerly awaiting his announcement related to the availability of mocha as an option at HSBC premier lounges.

tbh this is a good thing for me, dealing with the whole will it/won't it and possible problems related to unplanned stops/starts is an extra operational risk
    keep the lunch break!!
