    Hong Kong's Budget Deficit - 2024-2025

Can someone point me to where the number for the current fiscal year to date budget might be found?

    Spotted in the interwebs

HK govt recently reported HKD 130B (USD 17B) deficit for the first four months of the current fiscal year, while it originally budgeted HKD 48B (USD 6B) for the entire fiscal year. It has blown past its budget at lightning speed. If it keeps running at this rate, HK will run of fiscal reserves, about HKD 733B (about USD 95B), by the end of the next fiscal year.

Interesting. There aren't many levers to pull while the currency is pegged to a foreign currency

No problem, we just do like the rest of the world, issue bonds to fund the deficit, a well proven solid long term solution.
