Well timed accident on MTR escalators

Given the recent discussions on here about walking/not walking on escalators, this seems well timed. NOTE: there is no suggestion in the article that anyone was actually walking on an escalator.

Ha ha, Cheung Sha Wan, not quite Sheung Wan... I'd be intrigued to see the video, I'd wager none of them were paying attention.

The four injured were sent to the hospital for treatment of minor scratches and bruises, with one also complaining of discomfort in her lower back.

Probably by ambulance no doubt, involving stretchers and with much fanfare. Hardly the type of catastrophic accident one needs to instigate a safety campaign over...

That's 'discomfort' by the way - remember kids always hold the had rail (with a maximum of one hand - Phone's first of course!)

It's not a ban, it's not a law, it's not a rule, no one will get fined. it's merely a safety campaign so stop the whining and continue doing whatever you've been doing and take a breath if someone has the gall to waste three seconds of your life by standing on the left side of the escalator
