    Cold weather warning (19/12/24)

For those of you who live in a cave and might venture out tomorrow.

The Hong Kong Observatory issued its first Cold Weather Warning this winter at 4.20 pm on Thursday as a dry winter monsoon is bringing cold weather to southern China. It also warned that temperatures tomorrow will fall to as low as 12 degrees Celsius.

Around here, we gauge the temperature by the cat's proximity to her heater.

It’s so cold here I’m on the way to the airport to escape! Uk here we come. Actually the temps aren’t too bad for the next week or so and I swear 8 degrees in England feels warmer than 8 degrees here.

Think it is the humidity. I hated the 'cold' days in Hong Kong

It's been bone dry, so it's not the humidity. Probably just the complete lack of insulation in most buildings. I need to wear an extra layer when sitting around at home.
