Sure. AI can also fill restaurants, shops, etc. Because AI will earn salary and go buy shit, right?

Ah no I forgot. We'll all be unemployed and without salary. Yay

Well I'm sure that's gonna be great for the economy and for society at large.

I predict the number of FTE will increase due to the creation of AI governance and legal roles. Maybe even entire new fully staffed departments and bureaux

I'd have thought civil servants would be the last ones replaced. What government in their right mind would think it's a good idea to put more people out of work?

I think, it is going to end very badly for this current crop of super wealthy, in a very French, historically, Voltairian, way. History has a habit of repeating itself, and to be honest, the super wealthy of this world, really have put the pedal to the metal of their, combined global robber baron machine. So, it wont be too much longer before, mainstream society completely loses its tolerance toward these people out in public.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau, considered a philosophical founder of the revolution, wrote it was "manifestly contrary to the law of nature... that a handful of people should gorge themselves with superfluities, while the hungry multitude goes in want of necessities."

I don't think we will see the reintroduction of the guillotine, but I do see a time that mainstream society, will lose their shit, if, anybody is caught flaunting their wealth like they hyper-obnoxiously Bourgeoisie tend to do. So it will be like my generations attack on the fur coat trade, when we'd ambush wealthy folks in hotel lifts, who wore fur coats, painting them in red paint, making them so shit scared that they A/ stopped wearing fur coats out in public and B/ stopped buying fur coats full stop. you can thank Gen X for ridding the world of the fur trade. so, I can see something similar, those who have to flaunt their expensive cars, being a target of vicious contention, taking all the fun out of being rich. Bring it on, it will be fun to watch the 21st century, Bourgeoisie being finally dealt with until their greedy vice like grip, is loosened somewhat.

If I were you I'd be worried about AI starting to write dumb books.

I thought along similar lines and feels like the most violent society, with access to guns and with the widest gaps is clearly the US. The recent movie civil war comes to mind..

it wont even require guns, I don't believe, just making the Uber wealthy of this world, feel uncomfortable, every time they're out in public, will be enough to loosen their inequitable grip.

We definitely live in exciting times, where we will see, some push back against the super rich. by mainstream society.

needs to happen, lets be honest.
