military parade today - the women soldiers

    So who picked their uniforms?

Seems to be some dirty old men at work there.

Wouldn't look out of place in a bar, or shop sales uniform...

... But wasn't the main draw, was the way they marched straight and synchronised?

Had watch this on the TVB this morning, mindless dribble from those presenters (As usual) with little to no research on China's history. More like "oooh, look how pretty those parade carts are! ". So funny, I had to mute it.

Cool, new fighting strategy based on the Art of War by Sun Tzu, victory with out fighting - seduce your enemy to surrender!

They are part of the Militia, they don't see combat. They are more in support roles than anything else. Notice that all the Women in public positions in China look good?

Even at the border crossing, those who stamp the passports look good. Looks account for a lot in Asia. When I was helping a Chinese firm in Hong Kong and China recruit some engineers, every resume came with a photo. Even for a position that never saw the public eye came with a picture. Weird in deed.

I approved some hires but the Owner of the company rejected them based upon not making the cut on looks.

If any company did that back home, you are talking major EEOC lawsuits. Then again this is Asia, human rights dont apply.

Korea and Japan is the same way, you cant get a jizzob if you are fugly... Maybe that's why im not working right now...
