GeoExpat Android App Available for Download

The new Android App is now available for download:

GeoClicks Mobile - Android Market

The app includes access to GeoExpat, GeoBaby and GeoSchools forums.

This is the very first release so there will be some bugs.

I notice it installs to sd card by default. Great! So many apps cannot install to sd at all. These are the first to be deleted on my phone.

Oh yes, its fantastic. Im now officially on the android team! The only complaint I have with arc is the battery life, which I know you warned me about well in advance. Global firmware 2.3.3 seems to have helped a bit.

upon further review...

1. can't see a 'like' button anywhere in the threads
2. can't see stickies or any global threads (like this one)
3. splash screen doesn't fit widescreen when rotated
(edit: this last one..it does after i've scrolled the screen)

i'm sure you're testing all this at the mo...just thought i'd point out a few...

I'm in Perth right now - perhaps it was not searching the HK market place. I tried adding "hong kong" to the search but that didn't work. Might just wait until I get home!
