My daughter read the novel at school and really loved it, so we would love to go and see the play together. I've also heard that Scamp Theatre productions are very good.

I am a huge Michael Murpurgo fan, his is a wonderful storyteller whose writing is sensitive and moving. I would love to see how Simon Reade brings this tale to the stage, I am sure it will be with the same feeling and power as War Horse.

I am so enjoying reading this book with my son - we are at 'A Minute Past Three'! A real page turner - Michael Morpurgo manages to tackle the difficult and sad subject of war with enlightenment and the characters come alive from the pages with warmth and sensitivity. I'm sure the play will be an excellent portrayal. In particular I like Mrs Peaceful - she is amazingly calm and strong even in the face of adversity. My son is lucky to be going to the play with school but I would love to win tickets to see this with my husband!
