    So, you saw a thread....

In this case, the "Finally..." thread about the Philippine stuff. But didn't post so it's not in the subscribed topics list. But I did read it so it's no longer in the unread list. You search for it, but "FINALLY" brings up nothing relevant, just posts from 5 years ago (huh?). You search by forum - travel? no. global conversations? no.

So how the hell do I find it to add something (I found the link with the travel alert reduced to amber - yeah!)?

I just go down the 'all' posts list, but that's on the app.

I just think of the subject and look for the relevant forum - in this case hong Kong Politics. But usually I'm on the app so I just wade through the timeline posts

And how is that going to help her find a new thread on Geoexpat?

Funnily enough it was Brits suggestion to search browser history that worked. I would never have thought of that. But why is is SO hard?!

EDIT - never realised there was a HK politics thread LOL.... or I would have looked there.

Think that's bad... my wireless keyboard stopped working (no keyboard warrior jokes) but laptop is plugged into tv. Determined not to move off my arse, i started typing using just the mouse.

    How?

Right click copy individual letters, right click paste.

Doing this, i managed to successfully complete a 30 second task in 10 minutes! But importantly , arse remained on sofa.

    Result!
