    New Forum Software - Testing

I am playing around with some new forum software - which I hope will replace our current site in the next year or two (going to take a while to replace 10 years worth of custom code and chewing gum/string changes).

Would appreciate a quick test / comments or any feedback that you may have on the new test site:

    https://newsfora.com/

The site is in test mode, I do not expect it to stay online for more than a week or two ... Don't read into the domain / description too much ... like I said, test mode.

Anything php is now end of line for us. We are moving to a more real time platform.

Also, the new architecture allows us to be thousands of times faster on mobile platforms are very limited info is sent out over the wire...

I could bore you to death if you want.

Emx I have it on a couple of sites. NOT bad at all, but would not bet me next 5 years on it.

This is the other platform I use daily:

    Discourse

I should probably adjust the trust levels on the test site. (Not prestige)

Burnt out. Calling it a night.

@emx I really like discourse. Testing it on another domain. Seems a lot more complicated and the guys who have written it are not easy to work with.

(Made their money on stackex and it is 'my way or highway'... Still worth looking at, as a number of VBulletin sites have migrated to discourse.)

Have you considered using a 3rd party feedback system such as
