I agree with @Sith, bring the app back please, browsing the website on cell phone is not fun.

Honestly, with the new progressive app framework I'm working on - the mobile app becomes rather irrelevant. Push messaging, notifications to desktops / mobile phones, live updates via socket.io, live "blogging" can all be done with the progressive web app, on desktops, mobile devices, amazon fire tv etc...

Key is to avoid the "jank" that web based rendering suffers from. Can be done easily with newer frameworks and some discipline.

The trick will be to package this with a wrapper for people to download in an app store - this is the current trend anyways.

    Something like that.

The "website" can be / will be a bundle of scripts and formatting. Which will call on the backend for updates etc. The scripts can be packaged into an android or IOS shell.

Think of it as static templates with dynamic data.

Most recent one I know is dirtyhairy. Is there another? He might hit double figures

Saying that, after going from Christian to atheist I'm thinking he might be converting to Islam next. Would seem the next logical step
