This has been going on for over a decade and yet you never understand why it is just you.
What does that other thread got to do with this? You won't respond because you fail to see the issue. What goalposts have I shifted here? For other threads I can't say, but there is none here. You just automatically assume I am wrong without even bothering to understsnd the issue. That's your problem and the problem of the mod. They just assume I am wrong without even bothering to know the matter. How is that fair?

That's like saying someone is black and then he must be a criminal.

When a thread gets heated it's usually best to back down. The general mood is quite pessimistic, let's not contribute towards the bad feelings.

And yes there are some obvious trolls on this forums but baiting them is just pissing in the wind.

Having a thread closed when you’re in the middle of making your points, when you’ve just made them, or the thread is otherwise useful or interesting can be very annoying, I’ve been there so I sympathise.

On the other hand whether every decision is faultless or not, it’s probably an indicator of a good time to stop and take a breath, and let it (both the moderation and the original issue) go.

Just take the opportunity to look at in a positive light as helping preserve one’s health and sanity from needless arguments.

True, but in a way, isn't that encouraging the trolls here? I mean, I would not have the need to make a thread here if the mods actually dealt with the trolls. Why can't the mod just delete the troll post in the first place and that would solve a lot if the problems. But instead I end up as the victim here?

Just put the trolls on your ignore list. Then you don't see their opinions and you don't feel the need to "correct" them. Ignored trolls will quickly die.

I know, but I don't get why the mod never does anything about it and end up closing my thread when its the troll's fault. Like, why? I mean its pretty rich when a troll on this thread accuse me of a lack of original thought when I probably have made 10 times more originally post and ideas on this forum than he ever will. Yet the mod never seems to see that. He just blames me when its the troll's fault.

In the book I am reading I just read this sentence:

"They did not understand why this was happening to them and were too blinded by their own sin to look within themselves for the cause."

The quote applies to you more than me. You just lump me into cases that you automatically written off. You should open your eyes. You said I move goalposts. OK, Iike I said, I can't say for certain for other threads, but where did I do it here? You cannot tell the trees from the forest. You should instead look at each case by the facts, not simply who the people are. Like I said, you are in essence saying just because someone is black they are the criminal. You know how wrong that is right? You are blinded by your prejudice to see the issue.

Like I said, principles come first. You see even someone like DeletedUser I can actually like his post, if it is post worthy to be liked. Just because he's a dick doesn't change that. I treat everyone alike. Its what they say that matters, not who they are. You should learn that too.

You're guilty of writing too many questions, literal or rhetorical. Write in statements. Full stop.

And the above sums up why you, and you alone, have had these same problems constantly for so many years.

That post made me laugh, especially the bit about how my attitude to your posts is like assuming black people are criminals. I think you need to bring in Hitler as well somehow.

Meanwhile there are people starving, dying, committing suicide but you keep stressing over a thread being closed on an expat site in Hong Kong.
