Not even trying to set the bar high.
Hopefully I am not naively optimistic by wishing everyone all the best and hoping that 2022 is an upgrade on 2021!

You made me fancy a doughnut!
Happy New Year ,Shri and Everyone.xxx
Well 2021 is about to end, it was a shit year, same like 2020
Today is New Years Eve, in the past when younger, I would go partying all night until tomorrow morning but as I get older, I will just stay in the house and watch netflix instead.
All you young at heart or age, party hard tonight, enjoy and be safe.
See you all NEXT YEAR!!!!
Yeah 2021 has been properly shitty. Health deteriorated (disc in my neck broke), never left Hong Kong (except a cruise to nowhere a few days ago), work-wise been pretty meh and even the Hong Kong stock portfolio plunged in the second half of the year, so not even financially am I much better off, which is unusual. Only bright spot is that only one good friend left HK which is very low given everything going on and I made a new friend, so net zero . My partner and my friends definitely carried me this year. Onwards and upwards from here!
Happy 2022 to all geo friends!
Australia had 20,000 new COVID cases yesterday, 30,000 just reported today. So whilst everything is open tonight and no restrictions in place, a lot of people choosing to stay at home, restaurants reporting lots of cancellations, etc. Even the famous Sydney fireworks tonight, you usually have to camp out all day on the foreshore to get a good spot. But this year, seems like plenty of good spots still available. Happy New Year!
Trying to decide whether to go to Taipei 101 area at midnight or Tamsui at 8:30 PM for fireworks (or both!). After two years of cancellation in HK, somehow feel I should go out to see fireworks.
Happy 2022 (maybe)!
