We don't need no stinkin' pretty

TBH even a grey background over the existing would probably be a great modification. Might be a bit fugly, but it'd be easier on the eyes.

Check the home page when you get a chance. It will pick up the dark mode setting from your browser / OS depending on how its enabled (not user configurable at the moment).
