    A $200HK banknote?

I was comparing bank notes in my head the other day. The US has a $20 ($162HK), the UK has a £20 ($256 HK) and there is a €20 ($228 HK). A $500 notes seem hard to break sometimes, certainly troublesome with some cabbies early in the morning.

Kind of wondering if a $200 HK banknote has ever been considered? Seems to be a 'gap' in the notes available here between $100 and $500.

A bit of a tangent here, but if any currency needs to add more banknotes, it would be the RMB. Carrying a stack of 100CNY notes is too troublesome, they need some higher denomination such as at least a 500 note.

    Yes, agree with Bryan there.

I was thinking about the RMB100 note. They need a RMB500 or RMB1000 note.

Probably on a silly note I think a $200 note there would have to be new designs for cash registers. Ever noticed that the $100, $500 and $1000 notes are under the cash section? They should just get rid of the $1000 note and add a $200 maybe.

I think Chinese government are reluntant to issue a high value note as it would encourage counterfeit. But I agree there should be a 200 hkd note and get rid of all those 10,20 & 50 cents.

I have two $150HKD bank notes, but those were a limited edition from Standard Charter.
