    Lightbulb Loose Change

I have a lot of about 400-500 Dollars worth of coins accumulated in about 7-8 months. Does some one know if Banks accept all change as such or they cut some portion and issue notes?

Also can I take it all to a 7-11 / MTR Station for an Octopus Recharge ?

use it for bus fares. the banks can be a pain about accepting small change.

I don't travel by bus sadly only MTR. I think I will roll it out slowly and steadily towards MTR tickets and other items

Thanks for the offer from The Pin Bank though!

Hi Amrit! I took about 500HKD in change to the 7/11 once, they were not happy, don't try it at the market either!
