HI
I'm exporting goods to HK from China. I will move back to UK later this year and will sell some of the goods there. Does anyone have any idea of what import tax I will have to pay if any (as bought when I was living in HK)
Thank you
Rachel

Import duties at UK port of entry are available from UK Customs & Excise. Your shipping agent you are using to export can give you that from his UK office connection.
Cost involved to expeort are -
HK side Charges To and Through Port.
SEA Freight , CAF , BAF .
UK side
THC, Clearance and Documents, Duty, VAT, Inland Haulage .
VAT in UK is set at 17.5%
Thank you for your info - are you in the export business?
Might have some more questions for you if you don;t mind
Regards
Rachel
I am not an agent but I export goods.
Most things can be answered by your agent or their office in the country of arrival.
