Pacific Coffee - Distributing magazines

You know all those magazines that you see in Starbucks, Pacific Coffee etc like Square Foot, HK Mag etc.

Does anyone know what kind of agreements the publishers have with the coffee shops? We are doing some market research into how to get a mag distributed in these stores.

Suggest you just call up the headquarters for the shops and the magazine companies and ask them the same question.

I'll ask the store manager at the Starbucks in Cyberport. I think they might also have some discretion in the smaller outlets.

But yes, you need to contact the PR / Marketing departments of the outlets and often, for smaller publications arrange some sort of advertising swap.
