Investment Banking Headhunters in Hong Kong

Hello, I am currently looking into front office investment banking opportunities in HK. As I am currently living in London, what would the best way in carrying out this job search in the initial stages? I have heard that headhunters in HK are very reluctant to engage in a conversation if your contact details are not already HK based. Is this a fair assessment?

I would be interested to hear any thoughts on this, as well as any suggestions as to who are the prominent investment banking headhunters in HK

not true at all. tonnes of them talking to ppl all over the world.

and alot of hk roles are looked after by the UK HH offices as well
