Ebay: New Verification for crossborder trade

    Hi!
Today we wanted to list some new items, but couldn´t because Ebay told us we have to go throw a new verification process for crossborder trade.

    Any experience? Any advice?

    Thanks

What kind of process is this? Is it because you just changed your account address/country?

It´s because we sell from HK to overseas.

They asked us to provide ID-card copy, adress proof, personal photo.

    Ebay mail:

...for further enhance the trust and safety environment of eBay international marketplace. We require all cross border sellers to go through an additional verification step.

    1) eBay ID pass seller verification.

    2) Paypal ID pass user verification, Link Paypal ID into eBay ID in "My eBay"

    3) Click xxxxx to submit an application to us and pass the manual verification.

You can follow the steps listed in the link: http://cert.ebay.cn

In the third step, you should fill all the required fields and upload your ID Card photo of jpg form and within 200 k.

If you are not a citizen of China mainland, please just type eighteen "0" in the ID NO. required field.

Also you should type your name and phoneNO. in the related required fields.

Well there you go. You're not in China, this shouldn't apply to you. Right?
