I am thinking about starting a wiki website.
The wiki site is a collection of mostly cases and materials which is Crown copyright.
It is meant to be educational, mostly to be used by law students and lawyers. It will be mostly based on English law but with some AU/NZ and Canadian laws, as well. At this stage, I do not want to include stuff which require prior publishers permission. Obviously, I do not want to infringe the rights of anyone.
my wikipedia site will be like Casebooks or Cases & Materials textbooks, with extracts of selected cases and commentary.
Relevant extracts from cases will be presented in a readable fashion.
But I am thinking about crowdfunding the project from UK, AU/NZ and Canada sources (eg, solicitors, barristers, in house counsel). How and where should I start this?
Is it better if i setup a non-profit company in Hong Kong for project? eg, section 88....
is this whole project financially viable?
