Exchanging USD to HKD

Hi,

Where can I get best rates to exchange my USD to HKD? Do I do it at the bank or is there something better? My money is saved at the bank currently. Appreciate your inputs.

Depending on your bank and the amounts / frequency involved, in general the advice here is to transfer the currency to Interactive Brokers (might cost, as you have to transfer to their US Citibank account) and then convert to HKD and transfer for free to your HK bank account.

If really large amounts, Interactive Brokers is the best by far. For smaller amounts check the rates here:
