Cash when traveling to SG

Anyone tried using HSBC debit card to withdraw in Singapore?
Or would it be better to exchange HKD to SGD prior?
If so, which money changer is recommended?

unless you go to a hawker centre you won't need any cash. HSBC debit can withdraw as well but really not necessary. Wise now supports paynow so if you have wise, even can pay at hawkers

Never do exchange with banks.
Just exchange some SGD here to tie you over when you arrive and do the rest through the exchange places in Singapore. Just ask the people there and they can point out to you.

Get the Grab taxi app and you can use it to pay at hawker centres.
