    Over the last 2 years, the Fed raised rates by 4.75%. Most HK banks prime rate only increased by 0.875%.

    Not enough to send property prices surging again.

    But theres supposed to be two more cuts before the end of the year. Who knows how much they are cutting but its probably at least another 50 bips.

    That could change the outlook for 2025 dramatically.

    I think anyone thinks that property prices are down just because of interest rates haven't been paying attention the past years and are in for a rough surprise. This is like when the government cancelled the "spicy measures", dejavu all over again.
