Alipay HK or China for Use In Macau?

My Alipay HK not working in Macau, i tested many big shops and none worked when Wechat and Payme Unionpay worked. I have not verified Alipay account but i called customer service and they said for payment shops it does not need to be verified. They just reminded check that they approve Alipay HK payment, not just Alipay CN.

Could big chain stores or transportation companies in Macau only approve Chinese Alipay but not Alipay HK?

I've had no problems using Alipay HK (verified) to pay for stuff in Macau. Maybe you're accidentally using the wrong payment QR code? You should use the one for HK/MO/Mainland (not the one for 'Overseas')

Good to know thanks, will verify it and try next time.

I did use HK/MO/Mainland QR code but like in HK in shops payment methods there are two logos Alipay HK and Alipay (CN) maybe Macau shops like Muji Shake Shack etc. only had Alipay (CN) logo. But like bus for HZMB bridge would think should approve also Alipay HK and this did not work either.

Now Alipay HK worked without problems in Macau,
payments MOP fee about 0.7% when Wechat maximum 0.3% and Payme Unionpay 0.1%.
