    Cramming for CFA

I just impulsive signed up for the December level 1 exam. I'm in the financial sector, but my role doesn't involve much quantitative work beyond basic concepts. I've studied accounting, econ, finance years ago in university, but have forgotten much of it. I actually have very little time to study (given long work hours), so may well fail and have
to retake it in June. Nevertheless, what is the best way to prepare? What prep materials are most suitable for someone very short on time, but also in need of a refresher on the basics? Also, are there any good web-based materials so that I can discretely study during lunch time in the office? Finally, where can I actually buy these materials quickly? I haven't seen anything in bookstores.

I'm going to use the Stalla CFA review materials. A few people I know have used the materials and the HKSFA recommends it. Check it out! www.stalla.com they have computer based material. I'll be taking mine in June next year and I plan to use Stalla. Good luck to ya! =)

I took the level 1 exam in June 2009, results come out next week!

I used the Schweser notes and found those to be really good in covering everything you need to know for the exam. DEFINITELY use the free mock provided by CFAI, that's the benchmark and really useful.
