Where to look for a French chef/apprentice

    Hi everyone

I m working on a project in HK and I am looking for French chefs or apprentice to join me in the adventure or share views on it.

Unfortunately I am not acquainted with this culinary field and I have no clue where to look for chef.

If anyone knows, your help would be much appreciated.

    thanks a lot :)

    (I do speak French)

I'd start by asking these guys: Hong Kong Chefs Association and perhaps advertise on their recruitment page.

I would suggest trying to eat out at some of the French themed restaurants. If you like the food try grabbing them on their fag break typically 3pm after lunch or they will be in a nearby pub after 11.30pm after dinner service.

There are a lot of chefs (not always french) drinking after hours in mid levels after their shifts end in the evening, but they can certainly point you in the right direction.
