Today - 3:45 pm. (also Facebook live broadcast)
Scholarism confirms break-up - RTHK
Note:
Current Scholarism spokesperson Prince Wong will head the new student organization.
Scholarism started the discussion that led to today's announcement last summer.
6 Scholarism members will administer the legal assistance fund - including Joshua Wong, Prince Wong & Agnes Chow.
The fund will be available for 7 years. There will be an audit report each year. Any remaining funds will be donated to human rights causes.
The legal assistance fund will not cover Joshua Wong's judicial review.

Wong said the decision, which had been in discussion for a year, was endorsed by nearly 90 percent of Scholarism members. The party will take over Scholarism’s offices.Meanwhile, Youngspiration leader Baggio Leung told public broadcaster RTHK that his group is open to “some cooperation” with Wong’s party.
But he did not rule out their parties competing head on in the Legco elections.

Scholarism's Final Press Conference - English portion(s)
https://www.facebook.com/Scholarism/...68/?permPage=1
13:08 to 17:00 - Main Statement (Agnes Chow)
39.00 to 40:05 - Funniest Moment
The press conference included various students standing up & sharing their experiences as members.
One young high school girl who joined in Jan 2015, went on to say, "Scholarism can't last forever, just as ATV can't exist forever . . . ", causing peals of laughter as ATV's mic was sitting on the table.
As the student members struggled to control themselves, the young girl said, "My apologies, I've said the wrong thing.", then, "Stop laughing !" - a nice lighthearted moment.
45:40
They all stand up and bow, to thank the public for their support all these years - a public that has watched them grow-up.

Note:
A few hours after the press conference, Agnes Chow did a 1 hour Facebook live broadcast to answer any follow-up questions from the public.

Summary - Prince Wong, Agnes Chow & Oscar Lai on RTHK
https://youtu.be/ORZP_dm3ghw
RTHK: Did a "Big Boss" culture develop over the years at Scholarism ?
Agnes: No, because things would be put to a vote. Scholarism was well-known to have members with very different opinions. Even high profile/senior members would get criticized.
Oscar (smiling): As an example, Joshua Wong is the convenor, however he's not above being challenged by volunteers or criticized by members in meetings. A volunteer could actually yell at him. It's not like one person has all the say.
RTHK: So Joshua Wong is not the "Big Boss".
Agnes (laughing): There's no such thing. He's been on the receiving end of different criticisms.
Oscar: The public sees mostly Joshua, however the members behind the scenes are equally strong performers in their different functions.
RTHK: Another way to interpret "Big Boss" culture is the criticism that it's been the same faces from the pan-dems/other parties these past 20 odd years.
Agnes: I think it's important within a party to have a system to monitor and hold their representatives to account. The 3 of us are all former spokespersons and if any one of us were to say something wrong in public, we would face strong criticism from the other members and held to account.
Note: In an Apple Daily interview, Joshua Wong said not everyone wants to be convenor, not everyone is willing to be arrested or be on the receiving end of a high degree of relentless criticism/pressure/attacks. (Joshua has been willing to step aside to give others a chance. The group was actually trying to find successors amongst the high school ranks, to no avail. It seems that no one else wanted to be convenor.)

New party to aim for Kowloon East, HK Island seats - RTHK
Joshua Wong on the new party -
https://youtu.be/k7eBYYD9t_s
Summary -
The new party will not label itself localist. As I see it, it seems nowadays more and more people are labelling themselves this way - traditional pan-dem parties, radicals, even the Heung Yee Kuk. The word "localist" is becoming a bit empty. We will let the public decide based on our platform when we launch in April.
In terms of coordination, we are currently exchanging views with moderates, radicals & localists.
