    Apparently he was detained on Aug 8 travelling in - strange it has taken this long for it to be reported.

    He is a British Consulate staff member and he spells "border" as "boarder"?

    Why would he ask whoever to pray for him going through the border?

    I think something like that might be said somewhat jokingly. I think I said something similar when I crossed the border recently, like "Here it goes...".

    Only people like @hullexile can spell these days

    He's actually got a very nice cv - MS from London School of Economics.

    British National Overseas Passport - might be detained to punish UK (for phoning Lam) - everyone is left to guess if they have done something wrong.
