In Mongkok this morning (don't have enough info to figure out what happened...)

The fact this is getting so little coverage speaks volumes.
Think about it, how often you find *10kg bombs with remote detonation* in HK ?
The other day we also had the *cops finding a glock* case, which per police description was intended to be used on civilians for political gain.
Both of the above squarely fall within the definition of terrorism, but nonetheless, we only get short second page mentions of both. Everyone, including the newspapers, think both cases are BS, or why the lack of coverage?
The cops aren’t known to be a trustworthy source of information anymore, you probably need an secondary source in addition to the cops now.
Meanwhile on social media. No one believes them.

To be fair, the tweet is from some rando called "Walt13C". I think I, with like 10 followers on twitter, might even have more credibility than an anonymous tweeter who joined in Sept 2019.Meanwhile on social media. No one believes them.
I'll wait till the usual conspiracy theorists chime in.
Like Richard?

Playing devil's advocate here. But me thinks some engineering students, Ukrainian Nazis and a whole bunch of old communists who decorated the town with pineapples a few decades ago could also be brought into the equation.
I'm off the opinion - Let this one play out ... lets see where it goes.
And yes, I unfairly picked on Walt13C ... but I see too many randos newsjacking.
To be fair it’s completely natural for people to not believe the police. They lie daily about really insignificant things (yellow object, warrant cards, “unintended contactâ€) and expect everyone to believe them when they find a bomb or a few Glocks (handgun that the out of control STS uses...) in a city where gun control is strict and bombs practically never heard of since 1967. It’s only natural for ordinary people to come to a conclusion that the police planted the Glocks and the bomb.
So kids, don’t cry wolf!
EDIT: not helped by claims that police are forcing arrestees to make a statement under duress
https://news.rthk.hk/rthk/en/compone...6-20191209.htmMr Wong's lawyer complained to the court that after his client was arrested, he was punched by police and officers threatened him to unlock his phone. The lawyer said his client made his statement under duress.
it's has happened before, 2014, gunman, kills a person, then a siege with 2 guns, sdu is called, eventually the gun man kills himself, the source of the gun was probably smuggled from overseas, i even know a very good friend who smuggled 'marijana' from UK bu post 15 years ago and it sucessfully obtained it and was never caught, so there is no evidence why police would stage the incident with glock a few days ago especially with 5 people charged with this incident, let's see if the courts decide with the prima facie evidence is this is stage by the police with the 5 charged people or not.
