RTHK programme Backchat invited Exco member Tommy Cheung (Exco, LP chairman, LegCo [catering]) to debate the issue of Blue and Yellow economies this morning and it all went downhill from there. Or uphill if you're a fan of live tragicomedy!

    Programme starts at 5 min into audio, debate/rant from ~8:00 - 29:00.

(Exco, of course, is the exclusive council of sycophants appointed by Carrie Lam to advice Carrie Lam on gov't policies. Several months ago Carrie Lam acknowledged that these policies were the cause of popular discontent and wowed to also listen to voices from the lower strata of society, however not a single Exco or government appointee has been replaced to date, Tommy Cheung included.)

Anyone offering alternatives to conscientious protesters who refuses to live in government housing? The entire HK economy will need to change if independence ever happens.

LIHKG made a map. It's in Chinese only, but the colors are pretty self-explanatory

Literally no protest demand is about independence, just stop and inform yourself first.

Links directly into OpenRice, smoother than Google Maps on phone... Wonderfully user-friendly!
Now... should I next find myself a Burger or go for Vietnamese?
