Well, radical in front of my tv anyway. But I'd love to give some of these fake popo a stern talking to.
You should have heard the way middle-aged ladies were shouting at the top of their lungs yesterday at the police on the footbridge. They have the same idea as you...

Considering some of the words expressed here towards HSBC, I don't think it's so surprising that anger would be taken out on them? They had it coming to them, la?

I have given up watching TV / live streams. Far too much nonsense on there to sleep well at night.

I don't think we can equate HSBC fuckery to "they deserve this". Yes, I am aware that they induce a lot of rage.

Anyways... this is what they look like this AM.

To be fair, I don't see anyone getting "emotional" in the photos. Just an ISS subcontractor cleaning the statue.

    Fair enough.

Lets piss and shit all over anything that ISS contractors or street workers can clean up and move on with our lives.

    I've moved on.

IMO mass arrests were probably planned long before yesterday’s march.

Until proven otherwise this was done by someone wanting to escalate tensions. If it was a protester I think they need to come forward and man up!

Although, I admit at times I was frightened like a mouse, the moment, Carrie's chaps in green did something, my blood boiled and you know what after that.

    Happy New Year everyone.
Thank you! Glad you made it home safe.

Yup- and when there was no violence, only a bit of vandalism and some blockades to try to let people get home without arrests, they got desperate. You can always find a large group of people in CWB, probably always a shady character or two in the crowd.

Surprised they didn't do the usual Mong Kok round up but I guess all the buses and vans were staged on HK Island.

Anyway, had to arrest a pile of people to guarantee all the overtime to process them into detention. That's a lot of paperwork to fill out, it isn't going to write itself...

“Your friendly neighborhood cop drafted into crowd control is a nice guy. NOT”
