I think the cling film shortage is my fault.

people shortage, FFS the government is (allegedly) pressing government clerks to volunteer for "quarantine" duties ( obviously the government has no plan, no clue so forced to make public appeal )

Aren't condoms sold out? Might explain the sudden rush on cling film...

So they restocked all the toilet paper in Peng Chau and then some (huge towers of it piled nearby). And, once again, people were loading shopping carts with 5 packages and texting people (likely asking what should they buy for a friend or auntie who couldn't make it out). Will check tomorrow morning to see if it's sold out once more.

People were carrying bags of rice out of the Sheung Wan Fusion but when a coworker and I went to investigate, it was already sold out again.

Not sure where people are storing all this surplus...

Well yes... yes, it's very effective, please see below:

But don't use a bra as a face mask or you'll infringe this patent!

One of my colleagues bought a set of 3M respirator with a pair of 7093 filters, need to do more research on these as they’re supposed to be able to block all sorts. If it works, a set of filters has 200 hours of use.....saves me ‘wasting my a face mask if I pop out for a quick trip to the local supermarket on my day off.

I got one of these, before the virus took off, for doing some redecorating. It has 99.98% filtration at 0.3micron, filters last a long time (less if doing stuff like sanding). Comfortable to use, although not tested it in a high humidity environment. Reasonable price for a Made in England item, replacement filters quite pricey. Will likely give it to my husband to use on the MTR.
