Germany announces border closures of sorts...

Walls are being raised and mass quarantines enforced across Europe to combat the spread of the coronavirus, with Germany the latest to partly seal its borders, banning entrants from France, Switzerland and Austria from Monday.

Whilst we are all fairly comfortable here in Hong Kong with out super vigilant safe systems- there are HK people coming back from countries where they are being told they have to self quarantine x 14 days. This is a good idea, however there may be issues. A lady came to me today to say her regular private practitioners office would see her- and she needed a very specific blood test this week. Our practise isnt very busy right now, and we are all pretty careful, masks , handwasing etc. So FYI some practises will see you and some wont.

It doesn't seem to be helping a lot in the Philippines and we have been over 35 degrees recently.

After the weekend with many pictures of Parisians seemingly ignoring the call to stay home and socially distance, the liklihood of total lock-down as in Italy inevitable

Don't forget their voting also went ahead. Vive la France

Canada not quite getting it either as some provinces closed schools while others didn't. Idiots still trolling forums about immigration at a time like this. Keep telling people it's so simple #staythefuckhome

    Meanwhile scientists doing their part:

This is total. No work. No public transport. Strict home quarantine. Supermarkets will stay open and banks limited to ATM.
Local government will be responsible for food supply.

More information when I get it.
