    I guess, unlike most HK residents who hold and/or are paid in HKD - and are therefore benefitting - you've been negatively affected somehow by the current FX rate?

    I'm with George. My pension is in monopoly money and has gone over time from 95 Philippine Peso to 59 last week. I am all for free floating but it would be nice if it floated sometimes rather than sank.

    95? When was that?!
    Average for the last 10 years is around 67. Right now is 62.8...

    Someone said once that no currencies float - they all just sink at different rates
