Do the prisons have isolation cells? Could be another source of isolating.

Pleased to report generally good compliance with new regs in Sai Kung. Even the harbourside fish restaurants. Oh and I was temperate checked for a coffee.

Plenty of groups of more than 4 in Sai Kung country park and not wearing masks!

So many questions from a short news article.

    https://news.rthk.hk/rthk/en/component/k2/1517603-20200329.htm

An employee of the government's Information Services Department has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The employee visited New Zealand and Britain when he went on vacation between March 7 and 18.

After returning to Hong Kong, he's been working from home, without returning to the office or getting into contact with his colleagues.

He works at the department's office in Harbour Building in Sheung Wan. As a precaution, authorities have arranged the office and other public areas in the building to be disinfected.
Why would someone travel to two countries in opposite directions over 11 days for a holiday - 3-4 days of the 11 would be spent in an aeroplane?
    Why is anyone travelling now?

The employee did not return to the office, but the office and public areas in the building are being disinfected. Why?

I think I'll go back to not reading the news ...

(I take the data from the details pane, run a pivot chart on it, make a transformation to separate the local from the imported case, and present it in a stacked bar chart.)

what I like about this chart is that it gives you a much better feel for the underlying local uptick without the pollution of the imported cases (which I think are mostly being captured before they hit the community). So - there is spread - but it's not exponential. That's what we have to look out for. More cases is not an issue; evidence of exponential growth in local transmission is.
